Breadth Electives

Breadth Electives increase to two per semester in the fourth year of study

It is imperative that all fourth-year degree students have their breadth requirements in order for graduation as they move into their final semester. Specifically, fourth-year students should ensure that by the end of Winter semester they have satisfied:

  • Composition and Rhetoric
  • At least two fields of study at the 1000 level
  • At least two electives above introductory 1000 (this can be either two 2000-level electives, 2000 + 3000, or 3000 + 3000)
  • The total number of breadth electives as determined by the degree program

Always Seek Academic Advising Before Dropping Courses!

Never drop a required course without consultation and academic advising from your Academic Advisor, Myles Bartlett (myles.bartlett@sheridancollege.ca). There may be serious academic penalties in terms of not having the required course(s) necessary to continue to the next level of study.
